Short version: CardLARP has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your cards and designs stay on your Mac.

What stays on your Mac

The original faces of your cards, the designs you add or favorite, and your design history are saved in your Mac's Application Support folder. They're never uploaded.
To show your real cards, CardLARP reads card artwork from your iPhone and from your Mac's own Wallet, over your cable or Wi-Fi sync. This happens between your devices only.
To notice when you open a restyled card in Wallet (and celebrate), CardLARP watches your iPhone's activity while it's connected. That's processed on your Mac and never sent anywhere.

The design gallery is loaded from cardart.cc, whose own privacy policy applies to that site.
Update checks ask this website once a day whether a newer version exists. It's a plain file download; nothing about you is sent.
Donations, if you choose to make one, go through a third-party service with its own privacy policy.

This site doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics. If that ever changes, this page will say so.
